What do we want?

We, Rolf and Maren have been tramping in New Zealand for 4½ months (between January and May 2000). We liked the country and the uncountable tracks in the back-country so much that we want to share our experiences with anyone who plans to travel there and enjoy the nature.

During our intense preparation for our holiday, we discovered, that there's no short and useful introduction to tramping in New Zealand. We want to provide WWW pages with practical tips and a detailed overview of the tracks including a short description of the track and above all lots of photos. We are completely independent, i.e. all information offered on our internet site is not sponsored at all!

Of course, we're always keen on getting new information to update these internet pages. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have some suggestions or questions. It's great to get some feedback.

  • Hobbies: tramping, equestrian gymnastics, play in a theatre, horse riding and eating Cookie Times
  • studied chemical engineering in Karlsruhe/Germany,
    works in the construction of chemical plants

Saskia:

  • Always on tour with us since january 2002!
  • Hobbies: Laughing, jumping around, talking and always training to bake the World's best cookies, hoping some day to be able to taste the original ones.

Natalie:

  • Always on tour with us since the end of 2003!
  • Hobbies: Burping, laughing and looking forward to be able some day to eat Cookie Times.
